It is with great pride that 5 JCI Lebanon members headed to Tunis for the 2025 JCI World Congress, held Nov. 4-8th 2025 at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Center. Alongside beautiful visits of Carthage, Sidi Bou Said and the Tunis Medina, our delegation partook in the expertly crafted program.
The delegation consisted of:
- Marie Khalife, 2025 JCI Lebanon President
- Rania Haddad, 2013 JCI EVP for Africa and the Middle East
- Sarra Fassekh, JCI AUB President @jci.aub and JCI AME Social Media Manager @jciafme
- Ghiwa Mouawad, JCI Beirut Secretary General @_jcibeirut
- Kamal Kassab, JCI Beirut Alumni
What an honor it was to showcase the beauty and richness of Lebanon, notably at the Global Village. We shared a spread of labne, hommos and baba ghanouj in partnership with Baalabak Restaurant (Tunis), as well as some Rifai Nuts products like zaatar crackers, rolls and mixed nuts. We had prepared also some tiny jars of zaatar to take home as a souvenir, alongside some Lebanese flags and merchandise.
❣️ Thank you @jciwc2025 for hosting us, particularily 2025 JCI Tunisia National President Ameni Slimene, and COC Director Omar Bejaoui, and the rest of the team. A massive thanks to the JCI HQ Team, led by Secretary General Elvin Teo, as well as the JCI Africa and the Middle East Team for their continous support.
💥 And obviously, thank you to 2025 JCI President Keisuke Shimoyamada for his tremendous leadership, and congratulations to the 2026 JCI Board of Directors, led by JCI Bolivia's own Alejandra Castillo. We are ready to Lead, Connect & Evolve in 2026!
We raised the Lebanese flag high abroad and are now on to new adventures on the ground! Stay tuned.
