Held on Dec. 6th at Beit Toureef, in the heart of Beirut, the 2025 JCI Lebanon National Convention was a true success!
Under the title Lebanon and its windows, the full-day program was centered around heritage & community, a much-needed topic after months of political and economic turmoil. View the whole program on our website and on social media.
The day kicked off with a JCI in Business session: an entrepreneurs brunch in partnership with the Lebanese Entrepreneurs Network.
Three insightful sessions then followed:
- Preserving our Architectural Heritage hosted by the Beirut Heritage Initiative and architect Yasmine Dagher, who spearheaded the reconstruction of the Gemmayzeh neighborhood after the 2020 Aug. 4th blast;
- Discovering Lebanese Fossils in partnership with Memory of Time and expert Pierre Abi Saad, who unveiled the secrets of Lebanon’s little known fish fossil history;
- The Power of Community for Mental Health hosted by Healing Hands expert Omar Saad and 2025 JCI Lebanon Mental Health & Wellbeing Committee Advisor Rawiya Itani.
In parallel, a market was held displaying traditional products and crafts. It included: BeitToureef’s “mouneh” collection supporting local farmers and producers across Lebanon, Sahar Chehab’s live calligraphy booth, Hikayati Jewellery’s heritage creations, Lamsa Touch’s traditional crafts, and Em Ali’s new book “The Endangered Recipes of South Lebanon”.
The day was made even more special thanks to the presence of two international guests: 2025 JCI Geneva (Switzerland) President Marine Giardina, and JCI Bruxelles (Belgium) member Erwan Marion!
We wrapped up the 2025 JCI Lebanon National Convention with a few special announcements:
- the 2025 JCI Lebanon Awards, to be discovered down below and here
- we awarded Senatorship to Rawiya Itani, Immediate JCI Beirut President and JCI Lebanon Mental Health & Wellbeing Committee Advisor. Senator Rawiya has been an outstanding JCI member since 2022,
